Senior Associate

Senior Associates at Stax are an integral part of the case team and are afforded tremendous opportunities. From time spent with senior-level executives to fine-tuning primary research skills, the role of the associate at Stax is never static. The ideal candidates bring with them a passion for life and learning, a bias for action, an affinity for ideas, and a drive to provide value to our clients. Senior Associates work directly with consultants, managers, and directors on a daily basis to tackle our clients’ most difficult problems and to support private equity clients in better understanding and valuing potential investments. Life at Stax is unique—we work hard, and you can expect “consulting hours,” but you’ll do so in a supportive and collegial environment with far less time spent on the road than industry norms. We respect our clients’ time and believe that some of our best work can be and is done in our own offices. This creates time for professional and personal development that allows great people and teams to grow, as well as enabling involvement in our communities. Our associates are intelligent, innovative, and, most importantly, willing to roll up their sleeves. If you’re willing to dive in, work with talented team members, and drive impact from Day One, Stax is the perfect environment for you.

Specifically, in this role you will:

Collect and analyze data from a variety of primary and secondary sources and effectively communicate your findings and insights to the project team in verbal and written form.
Collaborate with project team members to share and further develop your insights and develop analytics that will feed into the final recommendations and presentations we make to our clients.
Contribute to client deliverables and client conversations, sharing analysis and results in combination with the broader team with senior-level executives at Fortune 500 firms and top-tier LBOs.
