Edco is an NYC-based tech startup with an online crowdfunding platform that empowers teachers and students to quickly and cost effectively raise funds for their programs. We help them spread the word about their needs and bring in tax-deductible donations, saving them lots of time and energy. Edco’s pilot was successful with more than 200 school teams and clubs across the country.
With proven results and happy customers, we’re bringing the platform to more educators, schools, and extracurricular programs across the country. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, driven and tech savvy, to sign up new partners and help schools use Edco to get the resources they need.
You will be working directly with Edco’s management and responsible for inside sales outreach and ultimately signing-up and training new customers - specifically, large organizations, educators and coaches/advisors. Expected methods will be calls, emails, online demos and occasional field visits and you will be supported by a research team from one of our affiliates. The position is based in our NYC office and after proven success, location and working hours can be flexible.
Compensation: base plus bonuses for deals closed and long-term incentives based on client success.
